UpdateSo the site will live on. Brian/Maxx will be taking over hosting duties.
Also you will notice that the site has been updated to SMF 2.0.2. This is partly because it needed to be done. And also it was done now because the site was hacked. I will be out of town this weekend, so I will not have time to work on the theme and getting other things set up until then. I have gotten everything up to a working point so that the site is functional until I am able to sit down and work on a new theme/skin.

Okay, so I have some bad news. As of June 1st, 2012 I will no longer be able to host the site. Given the level of activity I can no longer justify spending the money just to keep this site up. Its a hard decision and one I put off last June deciding to give the site one more year. If someone wants to take over, I will happily help transfer the files and domain name to them. I will back up and archive the site and the forum databases regardless, just as I did with the hwwrpg.com site.
This is not me just closing this website, I will no longer be hosting any websites because at the moment I dont have a need for a personal website. If that changes before June I will continue to host the site, but right now I am basically only spending the money to host this site alone.
Its sad, this is the last site that I am hosting/working on, not that I have worked on the site in a long while. But while there are spurts of activity here and there, there has not been constant activity in a very long time. I hope you all understand.

Thank you for letting me help yall resurect this site from its MSN glory days. Im not sure it was ever as active as we had hoped, but thank you. Im glad I got to know yall some away from the ups and downs of hwwrpg. And Dale, I wish I had talked to you more over this last year, I know its been extremely hard on you. I can only guess that you will (have? are?) come out stronger because of it and eventually some amazing writing will come from it all.As a side note, if anyone is interested in a harry potter rpg and has the time and creativity to put into a new one, I did recently join one at

And I know this isnt goodbye, not even technically for the site yet (I didnt want to spring it on you), but thank you all for joining the site, for your characters, your ideas and your writing. It has truly been a pleasure.
