i know your busy but if i could get a brief description of one of the safe houses that would be great :D sorry no posts been busy at work since I got home they have been guilting me into taking every shift under the sun "since you have a 3 week vacation during the holidays would you mind..." -.- that and pouting makes for a locked up in her room in comfy clothes hugging her teddy krystal lol

The safe houses are actually safe appartments Krystal.

Located on Tisdale there are 3 apartments on the 5th flr the 502, 503 and 504

502 and 503 I believe are being used by clans toreador and Brujah. But with the death of the new yorkers 504 is (i think its 504) is free but still contains the belongings of those kindred that are MIA or dead.

Apartments are older single bedroom constucts with a single bathroom with tub and shower and sink and toilet with gallery style kitchens but ample cupboard space above the kitchen sink.

Each apartment has a sliding glass door that leads out to a concrete balcony which could contain 6 individuals out on it without too much cramping.

Building security is minimal. There is a buzzer system to be let in but there is no door guard. The building is dated and likely was considered a beautiful and pretty nice rental spaces back in the 70s but now the place is looking mildly tired and most of the residents of the Tisdale appts are low to mid low income sorts.

Acess to floors is via the stair ways which are concrete and the sound travels extremely well due to lack of insulation on the stairs or walls. Or one can take the elevator located in the lobby but it is a smaller elevator and has a weight allowance of 1000lbs or less so getting more than 4 ppl in the elevator can be kinda crampy but you could probably fix 6 if you shoved enough.

Ok guys heres my issue....

Were really lacking active players. Ive had ppl tell me yeah yeah I'll be active and then they don't post.

This is creating issues with me progressing with the storyline. Danna isn't going to be a viable player for a while since the person who plays her is leaving on another trip.

Xiaoqing... The player who plays here assures me they will get around to posting but due to their internet radio shows isn't likely going to be playing.

Kystal is tied up with work and other duties...

Kristie who plays her malk with the eating disorder is too busy to play so once again we have lost her...

Iggy and McNab... I know Peters got alot on his plate so he wont be posting all that much either. So... That leaves me in a bit of a pinch.

That basically leaves me with only Clay and Brian that post full time and Kate when she feels motivated to get on here.

Direction and Ideas are most welcome.

Just reviving this thread so we can talk about the plots and our characters and stuff. we are kind of playing on the fact that the new buffalo transplants have lived her and moved to hamilton for 2 months so they showed up at the start to the end of august. So if you want to tentatively talk about how well you guys know each other and stuff like that you can talk about it here.

Was planning on revealing in a later post that Angel did not take custody of his niece and nephew but has their foster parents ghouled. He's trying to be in their lives as much as he can but knows that they would endanger the masquerade.

Strangely enough he was not accepted. Melissa refused she a pacifist. Chaz had zero skills but through talks with him you've gleaned the prince has been spending time with him and the others having them donate blood and experiments . I'm fine with angel goulding fosters if he could find out where they were.

Robert Downey is the case worker that is handling the case on your cousins

Shondra and Jamal Johnson were a husband and wife couple that lived on East 32nd street and had opened their home to fost kids. They currently take care of Angels 2 cousins and three other boys.

First off I just want to welcome all you guys back to the game. Its been almost 10 years since we all got into this for anyone new just joining, I also want to say hello.Just want to let you guys know this will be a nice way to reach you all. We are experimenting with different ways to communicate with players and its been a chaotic mix of using Facebook chat, private messages on here and using the Facebook Elmwood page. I do post notices and things on there as well so with luck you are able to stay caught up on things.AB is our second largest thread on this site but its a beast of a thread and game due to the amount of NPCS he have. Bloodlines might be the biggest but it has half the NPCs LOLSo to keep things from becoming an unbearable nightmare this new year of gaming and reboots is all about making connections and building bridges into the various Player characters territories. We are notifying you that there are definitely soem thread change policies that are being shifted. Due to how much energy and work it takes to run these bad boys we are urging you to play with your fellow writers. Moderators will not just let you pull them off into a corner to RP by yourself for the most part. If this behavior is noticed we will let you know and ask you to try and to write with your fellow players.Time flow is another thing that you will want to keep an eye on. It will be done via NPC posts to give you a rough idea of how much time you have before the shifting of a new day. Gone are the days of it taking a year to complete 4 days of thread time. So be aware when you are writing with others that you guys make use of your time and dont be afraid to co post. Call ppl out for co posts ask them on here, hit them up on FB or the Elmwood boards or via Private message.I love so far what everyone has been doing. we are trying to give you guys enough time to sorta ease back into your characters and get back into writing for them, but be aware that likely you will be seeing about one day of in game time being roughly a week to two weeks, however management may also move the rp dates and times ahead at times by a day or two or even a week or two if it helps move things along. We hope you guys are enjoying the game and if you have any feed back thoughts or what have you please feel free to share with the rest of us, your current gaming experience.I know we have AB tagged as a slow to moderate thread so you are looking at only having to post 2ce a week but we are also aware that some of you want things to be faster paced. Please be patient as we are looking at trying to figure out what will not tax our moderators or stress out players. But do let us know how you feel about things thread wise for pacing and speed. We are still working out the kinks so to speak and trying to find that happy medium as we all slip back onto the site and re acclimate to writing.

I think a convo that we could start up here is that the buffalo transplants started showing up August, and the last came mid september. Its now October and the date in game is the 17th

So please discuss with me and each other how you have acclimated to hamilton. Did you guys know each other well in Buffalo are any of these same city transplants are you guys rivals with each other or have bad blood or maybe a special friendship or strange bedfellow bonds?

Also have any of you taken the time to get to know any of the new Hamilton vampires from training. Any interested in getting to know any of them or having pursued to get to know them at all? Same questions go out to the hamilton vamps any of you guys try and reach out to the new blood thats moved into the city>?

Normally Angel would have been all over the new Ventrue but he's only been giving them a minimum level of assistance in finding places to stay in Hamilton. He'd give investment advice on which portions of the rebuild would likely end up being most likely to increase in value, based on what they had been but he would make sure they knew there were no guarantees. He's not being deliberately rude, just... focused.

Waylon is still trying to paint everyone's eyes, including Xiaoqing and Fia. He'd have approached the newcomers at some point and explained his 'Immortaleyes' series of paintings and asked if they'd want to pose. He would accept refusal with good grace and would not ask twice.

Jax would happily volunteer for Waylon's paintings, always eager to be a part of some art project. He's had mixed to negative experiences with Toreadors in the past, but Waylon's stupid attractive and while Jax would normally count THAT against him, too... its really hard to deny a pretty face if its gonna be... way prettier than it has any natural right to be. And also seems to belong to someone with a genuine soul.

I'm not sure how Up For anything Angel has been, but he does seem like someone Jax would naturally feel something for ESPECIALLY given everything that's happened. The rumour that Angel is musically inclined has only piqued Jax's interest in getting to know this guy better and being around when he's finally ready to get back to being himself. If Jax stays in Hamilton, Angel might be a big reason why. That said, Angel's a Ventrue, the clan Jax likes the least, so he has some small reservations. But Angel comes off as being pretty heart-on-his-sleeve honest. That's worth more than gold to Jax.

We've kind of been playing it out already, but I think Dana and Jax have been hitting it off since they met. They have enough in common that they're easy friends already, the way newly minted friendships get to be. Its an untested, new thing and I'm excited to see how it goes for these crazy roamin' Brujah kids!

Jax will have respect for Donna, but not without small reservation. This is no fault of hers - Jax resents hierarchy. He's not without complaints about the Camarilla, and the way power is allocated is a big one. That said, Donna's a strong and capable leader who Jax would have had respect for as an ally anyway, so that's that.

I think Jax is a little scared of Xiao?? He gets a dangerous vibe from her and wants to stay on her good side. He hasnt thought of how else to do this but to kind of say and do as little as possible with her, just so he can avoid saying something stupid. He's waiting for her to make the first move. And second move. And maybe third move.

I don't know if Jax and Devlin have had any contact? Jax has never needed his services, I can say that for certain. I'm not certain of their connection beyond that. They might have seen each other at court but. I dunno! Any ideas?

I'M SO SORRY I think Jax lowkey highkey hates slash is afraid of Samhain. This may be entirely one sided. But of any vampire Jax has met, this guy reminds him the most of his dad and like... is nearly the epitome of the kind of person he can't deal with. WHICH ON THE PLUS SIDE means that any relationship they forge out of their interactions will bear a really interesting narrative arc!! I hope they can eventually become chummy rivals if not full on brothers in arms.

I really need to go to bed but I know I missed a ton of people here... HMU either here or in DMs and lets figure out where our characters stand~!
