"Oh ye of little faith,"  Sebastian said.  "You forgot who you share a table with.  Am I not a granter of wishes and a maker of bargains?  Something as simple as a fake ID that would stand up to cursory inspection wouldn't cost much more than just a taste of a soul, the merest lick, so to speak.  A kiss would be the easiest way to acquire such a taste.  Not that I'm demanding a make out session for such a simple request.  No more than a brushing of the lips would be required and you will have your FBID.  Not that I'd turn down more the chastest of kisses.  I am after all, an incubus and I'd like to mention that sometimes a taste of me isn't enough.  Much like the other kind of Lays, one is never enough."  He winked at Artemis.  "Too bad you have yours already.  I would have made your toes curl."

Andi laughed, this evening was all quite amusing and fun for having to track down the bringer of the end. "Oooo Angel on Demon, now that's the stuff of fanfiction, you'd make little fan girls everywhere cream their hello kitty panties." The Valkyrie chuckled. "Sounds pretty sound."

Shaylee stood there looking Mortified. Its going to take some time to adjust. There guys are definitely different form the kinfolk you used to hang out with."

She composed herself and cleared her throat. "Does someone have transportation or are we going by foot?

Halo noded with almost a little bit too much enthusiasm, "Are you asking me to pull some Jedi mind trick on the local constabulary, Agent Sunshine?", her voice took on a deeper timbre as her small hand waved enigmatically in front of his face, "These are not the droids you are looking for."

Her grin reached new widths and she nodded again, "Oh man, hells yes I can implant memories and fuck around with cop minds, why that almost makes the whole thing fun!And another thing, don't listen to Sebastian, I can make our merry band of miscreants look the part, credentials and all, enough to fool the boys in blue without demanding the union of heaven and hell the x-rated version."

"Whatever it takes, Little One. Besides, once we get in there, we've really gotta keep an eye out for whatever her little shit of a son is planning on doing. That's part of the reason I want us to try and go in there all at once. Proper backup and all that." Artemis turned towards Halo, his own halo bobbing a little with the movement. "It'd be preferrable if you could make it so that when we go in and come out...or not, rather...they remember it like that ANYWAY. I come in, come out, too. I'm gonna need the rest of you guys to be forgotten. No offense or anything to you guys, but it's not exactly a fantastic career decision for me to bring in a bunch of people who are impersonating government officials."

Artemis sat back in his chair, his heel bouncing excitedly off of the floor, anxious to actually get this moving, anxious to get his plan moving, anxious to 'start baking those brownies', as he'd out it earlier. He waited for other folks' input, trying his best to keep the shit-eating grin he wanted to wear under control.

The dark elf looked thoughtful before responding. "Will there be an issue if I remain silent. My knowledge about about security procedures and how to blend in would be rather limited. I'm still learning how humans interact. These law officials act much like the royal guard one would assume?"

As much as Shay didn't want to admit perhaps her time spent living more in the rural areas and avoiding people had put her at a slight disadvantage. She wasn't going to let it get her down it just meant she was going to have to learn hands on as she went.

"No problem at all, Shaylee, I totally dig the strong silent type, besides, I think the rest of us will more than make up for your silence. Fuck, its like you pretty much walked in on a convention of 'I love the sound of my own voice united', self important fucks, much?", Halo offered the elf a smile that offered a good humoured genuineness that couldn;t be mistaken for anything else.

The pocket-sized sorceress turned back to the heavenly host and nodded, "I can totally do the whole mind wipe thing of a fleet of cops and civilians, this won't be the first time I have and I highly doubt it will be the last. There was this one time I had to alter the memories of the entire of Fire Island, good times, my new found feathered friend, good times indeed."

Shaylee smiled and chuckled. "It just means you guys are close. Despite your barbs you enjoy each others company regardless of what you say. If that was not the case there would be more bodies laying about."

"You don't need to strain yourself to cover me,"  Sebastian said.  "I can be quite unseen when I want to be and quite frankly, I have that supernatural hotness that makes teeth sweat, knees buckle and loins go all squishy.  Besides, I can chat up a few of the constabulary and see if there are any that need a little career boost."  He grinned.  "Or they're just bored and want a quick grope and fondle.  You know they type.  Working late for the sixth day in a row and hubby has gotten pissy about how his dinner is never on the table when he gets home."

"I will accompany you if you shall have me." Shaylee replied calmly. "There is much I still need to learn about the mortal realm so I will try to be supportive but you will have to forgive me since I am still experiencing many new and odd things. I guess its how you say... A learning curve?"

"Feel free to ask any questions you have,"  Sebastian said.  "Just don't assume the answer is 100% correct or applies universally.  Humanity is an odd bunch at the best of times."

"I am not sure about fighting. I have seen human use unusual weapons I myself use either sword or bow or fay magic will those be of any use? My experience with most humans comes from watching from afar or their delightful picture box. I've found that to be rather informative if not a bit confusing."

"Don't believe everything you see on the one eyed staring God,"  Sebastian cautioned.  "Much of what you see is meant to entertain.  Think of it as a series of actors, performing on a very small stage.  Your sword and bow will likely draw more attention than you'd appreciate in most cases, so for the moment, stick with the magic.  Few will recognize it and that is a good thing.  When we get a chance, we'll introduce you to the quaint concept of personal firearms.  You might consider them cheating but then again, you might just decide you've fallen in love."

The elf nodded again "I will take that into consideration. What about knives? Are they too something that would draw too much attention? I only ask because most of my magic is defensive or glamor based. It is meant for misdirection rather than killing."

"The number of people in this city who try to kill each other with knives would boggle your mind,"  Sebastian said.  "I know what you mean, though.  I'm not exactly a killer when it comes to magic either, unless somebody specifically asks me to be.  Contractual obligation.  That sort of thing."

Shaylee didn't want to put all her cards on the table. She had earlier mentioned she was adept at using a scythe  but let them think whatever when it came to what she could really do. She was not familiar with all of mans weapons but she was a quick learner. It was better to let them lead the charge and show her how things would be done. Truthfully it would make her job as a reaper easier. The would likely be racking up a body count and she would be there to clean up. It seemed at least for the time being that it would be a mutually beneficial relationship.
