The restart of the RP was with the idea that the players would RP more with each other, rather than RPing only with the moderators.  Given the number of coposts, I think we've certainly done that and most scenes contain at least two PCs.  I'd like to say that they have been awesome to participate in.  It's taken a bit to get the plot lines where they need to be but we are where we want to be now and the groups are starting to interact more than ever before, which will make the moderators less and less critical.

With the beginning of a new chapter, I'm hoping things will move forward even more.  One thing I'd like to consider is putting one or two PCs in positions of authority within the preternatural community.  Right now, all the major power players are NPCs, no matter which group they are in.  Is this something the player want or do you want to keep the top seat in the hands of an NPC?  I'm not just talking playing Alpha's, I'm talking the proverbial BIG CHAIR.

EDIT BECAUSE SOMEBODY POSTED WHILE I WAS TYPING:

And Don is going to be horrified to discover that Seren thinks she's dating Mike....  lmao

Hell yeah do small 'slice of life' coposts or posts with two or three characters having deep discussions.  None of us are actually shifters, so sharing ideas as to what the characters feel is a great idea and might lead others to change the way they think about their own characters.

Seren knows she's dating Don, she likes picking on Mike because he was such a dick about her being blind when they first met so she does shit to rile him up.

As to the 'Big Chairs':

I really can't see Willard (Rat) being that ambitious. He is more of the keep the head down and go with the flow kind of guy.

Shale (Wolf) might be powerful enough to be a contender in another 10 yrs or so but I don't think she has the power or control of her inner bitch to do so now.

Elisabeta (Vamp) shouldn't be powerful enough at her age to even try and take on Waylon let alone Nigel or the City Master but there is the possibility of her growing powerful enough in the future.

Daniel (Cop) has the experience from the military, his time at NOPD and now in Seattle to be a good contender for unit chief.

Don't have a Cat so that is a mute point for me.

I have been enjoying the co posts and the interactions between players and characters. As far as putting PC's in the big seat, I think it would depend on the character.

Minnie is my newest character and I'll be working on some serious growth for her in the coming chapter. I'm really looking forward to the interactions.

Darien has a lot on his plate with trying to keep out of the police crosshairs. It seems that he will have some major interactions between different types of preters.

Lillia is currently going through a need to break out of what people think of her. It's kind of a need to prove she isn't weak, or useless. She's been working hard to do things because she has always felt like she's had to pay for her existence because she is flawed, thanks to overprotective parents. I want play her a bit more.

I'm here pretty late to the game, just got in at the end there but I'm having a real good time. It feels like a machine with a lot of moving parts and its very interesting to see how this all comes together. It's a building storm and I'm interested to see it break.

I'm hoping to keep up a little better with the launch of the new chapter! This machine moves quick and I hope to be better more engaged participant up in this bizatch and interacting more with my fellow players!

I'll be bringing Saphyre the attention whore back into the fray in the next chapter so between Lorne and Saphy I'll probably be at my current capacity without getting overwhelmed. So I'mma keep my head down so far as Big Chair is concerned.

Also I know this has nothing to do with the topic at hand but I just wanted to say that the most recent post from Wyn, Krystal and Darkflame was so sweet!

I loved it so much all this women supporting women in the greenhouse breaking up all the capital D drama. It felt really true to life where heavy stuff can be happening but your life still happens and you still just want to own a matching set of underwear goddamnit! And how necessary that is really. It did my heart good, my crops are watered.

Thanks, that was kinda the idea behind it. Slice of life, show the little things. And it works with the personal growth I am working on with Minnie. She felt the same way really. This is the important stuff. Connections.

As for the big chair Maxx kinda let things leak about that before I was really ready to even discuss this. So please discredit thgs about that for now its been run by NPcs for a very specific reason if ppl died lost internet rage quit lost interest the story will never grind to halt as far as the Big Chair ppl because Bri and Myself run those so unless we die... Its only like losing one instrument in your section of players instead of a conductor or lead.

I really appreciate the input and feed back guys. I will work to trying to make things interesting and more workable and I hope you guys find new ways to challenge yourselves and your characters for writing purposes.

I just really want to say Ive been enjoying these little slice of life posts. They are in no way throw away posts. The one with the leopards and the rat one guys they were so good. Just little bits of what lifes like when the politics and doom and gloom are sort of pushed to the side to show us a bit of what happens behind the curtain when people have down time. Keep up the great work. Its been nice getting to know your PCs and their personalities better <3

Okay I need a hands up on how many shifter characters are planning to challenge anyone in the next 2 days of the full moon? If the answer is Nada then I can move the thread forward past the full moon....

neither of mine. Minnie cant challenge and Lillia has no reason to.  Her position in the rodere is unique.  I doubt anyone would challenge her for it either, since most of them dont really understand that it is an actual position in the heirarchy and not just Nick playing favorites.

Shale will not be making another challenge for several months at least. Willard will not be challenging anytime soon but might except a challenge depending on circumstances.
