I could get into it if you're looking for players. How do the rules affect what happens in the story? Do you roll dice before we complete actions or do we just make a judgement call based off our stats?

The stats are more for my benefit rather than yours.  Tell me what you're doing and I'll tell you what happened.  The WoD character rules are there to keep characters relatively balanced.  Obviously I still have to approve the character but I'm fairly lenient.

FYI  I found Jack's choice of gift car rather amusing.  A little rich for a cop's budget, don't you think?  It's got some tongues wagging....

I figured why not have Jim my other old character give him one. I wanted Jack to have a dope ride but it is like you said, wayyyyyyy out of his budget. Jim seems the type to give extravagant gifts for little to no reason. Other than to maybe hope it will keep him on the good side of the Seattle PD.

The delightful boys from IA will eventually want to have a word with him about it at some point.  They'll probably want him to return it at some point since it could be seen as a bribe.  We can make it a minor plot thread if you want. 

Jack gets notice that he'll be expected to attend an IA interview session 'in two weeks time'  or something like that....

I'd be down with that. I have no intention to play as Jim again so it could be fun to play as Jack trying to explain a magic casting bisexual transsexual weirdo gave him an extremely expensive car for no reason, especially if Jim just took off for like Brazil or something without telling anyone.
