She takes his hand, doing her best to hide the shiver that slid up her spine.  "Lillia, but most everyone calls me Lilly, so I suppose you can too.  And I wouldnt say that I am really.. separate.  Just.. different."  she smirked a little at the irony of being different in a room full of "different" people.

December 23rd, 7:25 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Tristan

Indeed it was ironic but Tristan was different too and not because he was a vampire amongst a bunch of Lycan. He was different form his own kind and a sort of stray. Tristan did not seem to currently have a master and tend to be a loner. After they introduced themselves, Tristan's gaze went to the table. "It is nice to meet you."

December 23rd, 7:27 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - -  Daniel

Daniel slipped into the small conference room just a couple of minutes after Suki had.  He was carrying a small stack of yellow legal pads and a box of generic ball point pens.  He had grabbed them from the supply closet almost as an after thought, just in case anyone at the meeting wanted to take notes and hadn't thought to bring along their own supplies.  When he entered he took note of who as already there.  The only person he didn't recognize was the man seated at the table, all the others had been at the last meeting he had attended at Arch Angel Towers.  Placing the stack of tablets and the box of pens in the center of the table Daniel took a seat next to Suki.  "I brought the pads of paper and pens just in case someone didn't bring their own and they wanted to take some notes tonight," he whispered to her.

"Thank you that was kind of you. I'm not sure how much we will be able to cover tonight Father Sozio will have most of the floor." She admitted.

Suki placed the pads on the center of the table within easy reach for any that thought that they might be interested in note taking could access them.

"Thank you. And to you as well."  Lillia returned, looking up as Daniel came into the room laden down with note taking supplies.  She smiled a bit as he sat next to suki and whispered at her, the wererats gaze sliding to the clock.  It was close to time to start, but it was likely that Father Sozio was right and they would end up starting late.

December 23rd, 7:26-7:27 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Tristan

Tristan perked up a bit. His bright eyes caught sight of the pads and pens. The vampire, not sure what else to say, moved to collect a pad and pen for himself. He paused to make sure it was okay. His eyes stopped on Daniel since he was the one that brought them. After, her would sit back down, slouch over the table and remove the cap to the pen. Tristan would  place his left arm over the table with hand on the pad. He then turned it sideways and began to draw on the first page. The line work would start out light and almost hard to see.

December 23rd, 7:28 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Katherine

There was a soft knock on the door to the meeting room and Katherine stuck her head in. Offered a nervous smile and found a chair beside the pale woman. She didn't move with the same grace as the other shifters in the room. In fact she moved more similarly to the humans. However the shifters in the room could smell she had the scent of an animal on her. Mind you it was unlike anything any of them had smelt with the exception of Cynara.

Katherine offered Cynara a smile and a wave wondering if the attractive red head would remember her. The pale albino woman beside her drew her attention however she couldn't help be watch her. The way she smelt was pleasant and exciting for some odd reason however.

The rather plain brunette sighed and grabbed a pad and uncapped it and began doodling. With luck maybe someone would have some news for her. If not it was good to keep safe and get an update from the police about the whos who of whos being hunted in Seattle.

December 23rd, 7:29 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Domenic

Domenic looked at the clock.  "Well, this meeting is scheduled to start right about now but I'm going to give everyone a few extra minutes before I really get started.  Let me begin by welcoming you all.  This is an open meeting and I realize that not all the preternatural groups in the city get along with each other.  I'd like to thank you for making the effort to be here and for trying to keep your differences off this evening's agenda.  For those of you who don't know me, my name is Domenic Sozio.  I am a catholic priest as you can see but I also wear a number of other hats.  I am the vampire executioner for a three state area, covering Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  This also grants me an additional hat, in that I am a federal marshal.  I have a degree in preternatural biology, all of which combines to earn me yet another hat.  I've been appointed to head the combined Seattle Preternatural Crimes Advisory Board, which is hopefully what we will be forming tonight.  I'm going to urge all of you to participate or to urge your leaders to participate.  None of the preternatural groups have ever had a voice with the police before.  For good reason they've chosen to avoid the police.  Now we are provided with the chance to make their concerns heard.  You can speak up without fear and we will listen.  I can't guarantee what is said here will change things overnight but change will begin but it has to start somewhere.  I think the best place to start is by introducing yourselves, not just to me but to each other.  Share as much as you are comfortable with.  The rest of the room may be able to tell by sense of smell which group you belong to but I can't so I'd like for you to take pity on my feeble nose and let me in on the secret.  Whatever else you share is up to you but at the very least I'd like name and phenotype."

December 23rd, 7:29 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Tristan

It took a great deal of guts but Tristan chose to go first. The vampire huffed and then pushed aside his drawing. It was unfinished but it was a pretty detailed image of the room from his view point. It included those he could see from where he was sitting. and ended with the last one that walked in It was her and Father Domenic that were not complete plus shading on other objects and a blank spot where a wall should be. He did not exactly follow any form of training and certainly flowed with the design rather then sticking to structure.

In spite the fact that he wore clothing looking somewhat male, the vampire looked VERY female in features. At first glance, he even seemed delicate. However, his brilliant, sapphire eyes expressed a very different story. He began to study each individual. The hoody wearing vampire spoke, surprisingly, in a soft volume. "I guess I shall start..... I am Tristan Crow. I am a vampire and I suddenly felt like I am at one of those.... whatcha-call-it.... The mortal thing..... Oh, A-A meeting..." He glanced downward as he cleared his throat. His right hand rubbed the back of his head. "Look, all I want to do is help. By help, I mean those that..." He groaned a little and moved to sit back down. "N-nevermind..."

December 23rd, 7:27-7:29 p.m.  - -  Seattle PD  - -  Daniel

Daniel made sure he had a pad of paper and a pen ready to go before Father Dominic asked those present to introduce themselves.  He was able to fill in a couple of names immediately, remembering them from the meeting at Archangel Towers back in September.  The others he would fill in as they made their introductions.  First one to do the honors was a pale individual that could of been either male or female, it was difficult to tell even when the person started to talk.  But once they said their name Daniel decided that the person was male, and a vampire on top of that.  This person didn't mention being in attendance at the behest of another vampire so it was most likely that he was trying to stay independent.  A very risky thing to do.

December 23rd, 7:28-7:30 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - -  Shale

Shale took a seat and when the officer entered with a stack of writing tablets and a box of pens she gratefully took one of each.  She leaned back in her chair and stretched.  Father Dominic started the meeting and she was kind of disappointed that non of the other wolves had showed.  Shale finished her stretch and started taking notes as soon as the vampire stood to introduce himself.  She was still fighting the urge to gag at the smell rolling off of him but was getting the upper hand on the urge.  Hopefully the meeting wouldn't last too long and she could get out in the fresher air of the city.  Maybe she would suggest to the good Father and the police representatives that the next meeting be held in a room with windows that could be opened to let in air.  That might help the shifters some if one or more vamps continued to show up.

December 23rd, 7:28 p.m.  - -  Seattle P.D.  - - Cynara

Cynara had reached for a note pad and pen when they were layed upon the table, and then when Katherine came in and nodded to her, she got up and moved to sit near the woman. She had watched her walk in the room, and wasn't sure if the woman had remembered her from their previous meeting, or if she would recognize her with her new shorter brunette hair style. When it was obvious that she did infact remember her, Cynara had moved to sit with her because Morvan or any of the other usual pard members weren't around and there was no way in hell she was going to go sit next to Brandy.
Cynara didn't hate Brandy. They had gotten past that very quickly after meeting. But there weren't the best of friends by any stretch of the imagination. They were Pard, but Brandy chose to go directly against their Nimir-Raj, and with her unwavering loyalty to him, and the rest of the pard, there was some animosity towards the red headed woman across the table. Not that they would ever address it in public. Pard business was Pard buisiness.
Cynara had whispered a quick hello to Katherine when she sat down, but then Father dominic had started talking and Cynara went into business mode, listening to every word he said, poised to take important notes.

"Don't feel embarrassed," Domenic said.  "Some people don't feel comfortable speaking in front of strangers.  If you want to help, that is wonderful and if you feel like you are at an AA meeting, that's great, because no one judges at AA.  We won't judge here either.  Everyone is nervous and it took a lot of courage to speak up first.  Bravo, Tristan Crow.  I applaud your courage.  If there is a special group you would like to help, let us know and we will see if we can help them without making it look like we're giving anyone special treatment."

Shale started to stand when the young vampire sat back down.  She waited till Father Dominic finished addressing the blood sucker before standing completely.  Her usual smile was on her lips though it was faintly strained around the corners of her mouth.  "My name is Shale Menderhar.  Formerly of Alaska and here representing the Seattle Wolf Pack."  Not really knowing what else to say she took her seat again.

"Are you here in an official capacity, Shale or are you here as a concerned member of the pack?" Domenic asked.  They all knew about the rough time the werewolves had been having over the condition of their Ulfric.  To see one of them at the meeting was a pleasant surprise.  It meant that things were getting almost back to normal.  "And if you could, maybe you would be willing to tell us what it is you hope to accomplish by coming here."

She stood again to answer Father Domenic's question.  "Both actually father.  And as too just what I hope to accomplish here, I really don't know.  I don't have much experience dealing with those outside of my pack.  As too what the pack hopes to accomplish that is just as murky a subject right now I'm afraid."

"Thank you for being honest,"  Domenic said.  "Please convey to your pack that if there is any help I can provide, all you need to do is ask.  I realize most packs try to keep things internal but sometimes you need an outside perspective from someone who has no stake in the situation.  I realize that's a hard thing to believe coming from a priest, federal marshal and vampire executioner but it's not like I can hide a secret agenda with all my cards already on the table."

He looked around the table.  "Who's next?  I'd like to keep the dialogue open and flowing.  The more we know about each other the easier time we have trusting each other."

December 23th, 7:29 p.m. - At the side of the road - Ian

The werehyena tapped the hubcap back into place.  He rolled the flat tire to the back of the car and hoisted it into the trunk with one hand.  It was such obvious and casual displays of superhuman strength that made most humans fearful of shapeshifters.  It spoke of the enormous potential to cause damage that was contained within.

Ian looked at Jonah, trying not to look awkward as he used the hand wipes to clean his hands.  "So, you still giving me that ride?"

December 23th, 7:29 p.m. - At the side of the road - Jonah

He watched the hyena hoist the tire into his trunk and then sighed. Though he was not the strongest of lycan, he was not the weakest either and stronger then most human; so the display did not bother him in the least. Jonah made sure all that needed to be in the trunk, was in the trunk and then made sure it was nice and closed. After that, the red-head moved, while shuffling keys from his pocket, to the diver-side door. He pressed a single button that unlocked the door before getting in. However, he did say, "Just hop in. The door is unlocked." Giving the hyena a ride was his way of saying thank you.

Lillia cleared her throat and stood.  "My name is Lillia Sumner, and I represent the Rats, or at least one Rodere of them."  She smiles a bit sheepishly, her shy feminine personality seeming an oddity when compared to the Beast whose power swirled along her skin.  "I am here to assist in seeing the goals of my rodere and this group to thier completion."  Then she sits back down.

December 23rd, 7:00 p.m.  - -  downtown Seattle - - Rat Turf

The scent had been getting stronger for the past few blocks but its meaning was lost on Seren.  She'd never encountered territorial markers before.  To her they were just places were somebody had been too lazy to find an indoor bathroom.  Heedless of the danger she continued.  Her directions, given to her by someone with little knowledge of Seattle's lycanthropic politics, would have sufficed for anyone who didn't fall into the category of newcomer or shapeshifter.  Seren fell into both however and that was where the directions she had been given might have placed her life in danger, if she had happened upon the turf of a a different Rodere.

"Hey I think you're lost!" called out a voice.

"Shut up spaz.  Can't you see that she's blind?"

"So?"

"So how can she be lost if she can't see where she's going?"

There was a long pause.  "You are such a tool."

"I am not, buttmunch."

"Cock knocker."

"Ass clown."

"Douche.  Now shut up."  He paused again.  "I think you took a wrong turn, Miss."

Seren stopped as she heard the voice, she turned her sightless eyes on the speaker, "Oh, isn't this the way to Seattle General?" She cocked her head to the side, "The nice lady at the coffee shop told me to keep going this way for seven blocks and turn left at block seven. I wonder did I miscount?"

Her fingers tapping on the white cane in her right hand, very much like a nervous tick.

"Yeah, you can get to the hospital that way but you really should have gone the long way.  I mean didn't you notice the markers?"

"It's not like I didn't drink half a pot of coffee to make sure I had enough for them," chimed in the second voice.  "I mean I can see that you're blind but doesn't your nose work?"

"Shut up!  That was fucking harsh Dude."

"Well it's true."

"Long way?" She asked with a blink, "I guess the lady at the coffee shop figured the most direct route to the hospital would be easier since I'm blind," she said sweetly, if not a bit on the quiet side. "Is there some reason I can't walk down a public street?"

"Oh so that's why it smells like the men's restroom, I was starting to think someone had bladder issues," she said with a shrug. Her left hand tapping against her thigh as she started to move again, her cane hitting the foot of one of the speakers letting her know how close he actually was.
