I still need to know where Papillion and Jareth are, since it was never specified where either would be going.

nat's mother said
Quote
Natalie's mother smiled not phased at all by declined offers. "Alright dear, just go down stairs the closet is on the left for your shoes and jacket, the white door across the way is the one that leads into Natalie's apartment and where you will find her and David and I believe the other nice young lady was Justice and and older gentleman is down there. I think hes one of my Daughters Live action Role Player friends if his dress is any indication."

LOL - She is the perfect mother for Nat - proper and understanding to a fault.  Well done....

How much detail do you want on the investment concepts, charity drives and dirty tricks?

That is an excellent question, Maxx. I was wondering the same thing myself yesterday considering my characters response. I wish I'd thought to ask it on the plot-line thread though. lol

I think a quick PM to the moderator should do the trick, that way we can get on to more important matters.  Just assume 2 hours of discussion at the meetings and go from there.

Angel is looking at trying to bring revenue into the city, by building a hotel/casino.  He'll invest heavily if there is a recording studio involved in the complex as well.  Additionally, he'd like to see housing, new businesses and an expanded yacht club, with a custom yacht business (both from scratch and retrofit).  He's also rolling the properties he inherited from his family into the mix, with the idea of building a vampire friendly condo or apartment building on that site.

He'd also like some property set aside by the city for a memorial park.

Waylon will be producing several prints, the proceeds of which will go towards a charity for those displaced by the explosion.  He'd also produce works that would be sold to provide money to help small businesses.  No Quicky Marts or Dollaramas need apply.

Alright guys wow what can I say.... Were on chapter 3.1 already... Thats five entire chapters and the thread has been around for over a year. July 23rd 2008  marked the birth of this juggernaut and since then Ive watched it pretty much take up all spots on our site stats page.  I never expected the thread to go this far and retain so many players.

Thanks for your support guys.

As I said first starting out this is pretty much the first VTM campaign Ive ever run and so Im still working on pacing plot etc. For those that have put up with my trial and errors thank you and for those of you that stopped posting, I do apologize moding a game like this does have a learning curve and it takes time.

I figured now would be a good enough time to get some feed back from players new and old on what they think of the story up to date. Constructive criticism is accepted as well. I cant improve if I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

But I do want to say you guys have been a fine bunch to run a game for. I have enjoyed most of the game and the characters that I have seen come and go on these pages. Like with all threads Rome wasn't built in a day, but its aleast fun (for me) .

I'm having a great time.  Angel is so misunderstood.....

The story so far is incredible.  I was so frustrated at not being able to find the Sabbat.  And I miss ome of the characters that we've lost.  Rory was an awesome character and I just LOVE Emily!  She is such a wonderful Malkavian.  And the ghostly fashion advisor?  Pure comic genius.

Pacing is a problem.  There are those who can get on the sight frequently, who might get a little bored at the slow pace and lose interest.  Then there are those who can't get on often, so they have an issue with getting too far behind to keep up easily.  Picking a middle ground is difficult but I think we've managed rather well.

Now, if we can just get Fia's execution - I mean trial - out of the way.....

I second that vote. I'm having a blast. O agree pacing is a tough one in this case but I'm not sure there's any better way to handle it. Other than the timing issue I think you're doing a great job.

Pacing is an issue with any thread. And this group is SO scattered we can't do the Okay, sunday is post day, be there or get 20 pages behind. anymore.

I'm having fun : ) I fell off the face of the planet for a bit but I'm always happy to play Pappy she's all light and fluffy. And who knows some epic plot twist might bring Cal back but I doubt it : P In the mean time I'm sorta trying new things with Dana, and I find I really enjoy playing an aggressor instead of a pacifist : p

I miss some of our lost Characters, Lobo was great, having Rory and Calvin awkwardly talk to one another was always a laugh.

Old favs of course Vic, haha I wish Sean were on more often to play him he's always such a laugh in that dark way where you have to beat yourself with a cat o nine tails after : p Angel I always imagine him very angry and chasing after Fia who's happily taken over everythnig

Lovable newbs, fricking Justice and Doug make me pee myself in happiness

Ugh Fia! I'mma miss that bitch when everyone votes to chop her head off : /

And we're all guilty of time travel.

I love bloodlines it's always fun to post in, and it's so much fun. I look forward to the twists and turns that come up in the future!

And FYI, I do NOT have an inside track on what is happening.  Except for one small event.  Beyond that I'm in the dark as much as anyone.  Okay, maybe two.....

He will get the cat o nine tails of he says anything. Ive mentioned 2 small plot devices/twists to him as a sounding board but nothing more. Over time I do send the occasion players private messages giving them additional or unique info depending on the situation and their contacts, but pls for the fun of the game don't ask what happens next.

I like it when you guys log on and I wake up the next day and my inbox is filled with OMG's and WTF's  :angel4:

LMAO!!

I wasn't going to ask and he wouldn't tell me if I did, thats just being professional. I approve of the occasional pm/note/aside, they keep the game fun, entertaining and to a certain extent, "real". Everyone occasionally picks up on something that everyone else in the room doesn't get. :)

He's not over extending himself here.  He's stepping up, which is something few of the present Kindred have had the balls to do.  Everybody knows that Fia was a rival for control of that group. In fact she had more control than he did.  And yet he is stepping up and lipping off the Prince in order to see that she gets the best defense he can manage.

Of course if she is condemned, he'll take the blame.  If she isn't he won't get the credit.  But he will know that he stepped up and the Ventrue will know.  Whether the other Kindred acknowledge it or not is up to them but Angel took a stand when no one expected him to and fought to save the life of a member of another Clan.

What is he getting out of this?  He's pissing off the Prince.  He's likely annoying the hell out of half the Kindred present  He has nothing to gain and yet he still stepped up.
