Wednesday April 22nd, ~5:28-5:35 am. Tisdale apartments – Delta team – Tamara
BP 12/12, HP 7/7, H 4/4, WP 6/6
Tamara unlocked the second glass door, taking a quick glance to see the mailboxes for both apartment 502 and 503 empty, not that she had expected to see anything there already. The marble walls of the second lobby, the wooden panels and metal walls from the elevator, the beige walls and dark red carpet on the fifth floor… it all just served to try and focus her mind, calming her raging thoughts. The silence and solitude was all extremely good and definitively needed. She just hoped it would continue for at least a bit more.
It had been a long day, and once again, she found even more basis for her ever growing distaste for people. Animals in particular and Nature as a whole, despite how ruthless or uncaring, were always much more honest, comforting and uncomplicated. As she mused over the day’s events and the information she had gathered, the almost reassuring emptiness that was her constant companion came back. Not even a new purpose, as temporary or meaningful as it was, could fill it. She lived but for one and only one goal. The fact that her life’s path and this one had merged for whatever amount of time did not matter much.
Apartment 503 was the last door at the very end of the hallway, and for some reason that’s why she chose it. It was almost an hour until dawn and Tamara hoped she would find the place still empty… and so it was. Trying the keys, she finally got the right one and went into the tiny hall. It lead into tiny kitchen to the left and into a rather large dinning/living room to the right. Out of habit, Tam turned the lights on and closed the door behind her. Straight ahead, beside the living room she found the bathroom… a nice bath came into mind before she kept exploring. The living room had what seemed to be 2 pullout futons, and the bedroom, which you entered to the left where the bathroom and living room met, held a large king-size bed, 2 dressers and a walk in closet. All well enough for 4 kindred and 1 large dog. The living room led to a balcony through double sliding glass doors but every window in the apartment was heavily curtained as promised.
The apartment held enough supplies as towels, linen, soap and stuff, but Tamara didn’t find the rest of their luggage. It was not like she really needed anything at the moment, but a bath and change of clothes was a luxury she felt up to. Making sure she had the keys, she went back out and into apartment 502, which ended up being exactly the same as 503 just in mirror image. There were all the bags and things they had brought on the plane. Within a couple of minutes she had located her own belongings and taken them into 503, locking the doors behind her. It wasn’t long before her bags were sitting on one side of the bed and she was already enjoying the warmth water of her luxury bath.
OOC: If once the rest of the teams catch up and timewise this doesnt work and someone else had already arrived before them , lemme know to fix accordingly
