Iggy called Cash over and spent a few moments scratching the friendly dog.

As  Jareth showed his scars Iggy whistled.  "Ouch man that must have been brutal.  Rotties can be like that.  But man, to hold that over all the breeds, what about starting with some small like a cock-a-poo or its ilk.  Certainly, they can't bother you the same."

Jareth grinned at Iggy "No small dogs don't bother me. Let's see it was so long ago. I was maybe seven the new neighbors moved in. I saw the dog wanted to play so I went over  not realizing they weren't home. Dog was trained to guard and attack. Dog must of thought I was breaking in. Ever since then I just really REALLY like distance"

Iggy returned Jareth's grin.  "Gotcha Dude, keep Steel at home.  I have gotten use to that. Animals bother at lot of Kindred and Steel gets upset too - so often its just me and him out motoring, or popping into the Bite N' Brew for a cold one.  He's a great dog and deserves his beer - but no matter how much he whines I draw the line at the Arturo Fuentes."

Iggy straightened himself up and reach into his jacket and pulled out a platinum and gold metal cigar case which he opened, took one and offered to the others.  "Here if you like the Arturo Fuentes are on the right and if your looking for something not so mellow but sweeter take a Graycliff."

Holding out the proffered cigars Iggy lit his and relaxed in a cloud of blue grey smoke from the Arturo Fuente.

She followed him and sat facing Antigen. She cleared her throat and tried to maintain contact with his burning eyes.

"We got there and there were cops and all that. As for 'the one that got away', he had a hold of me in his teeth, and was drinking me dry. The rest of the team tried to help get him off of me, while Angel stood back and did nothing," She felt a slash of anger as she went over the details. What Angel had said made her think bad thoughts. She was starting to think of ways to hurt him. Bloody ways, gory ways, beautiful ways... She tried to push the thoughts away.

"When I realized that we weren't prepared to handle him, I tried to charm him. I didn't work very well... I did end up giving him my phone number, on the chance that he'd call. It was stupid, but I didn't know what else to do, and the only one who had the power to control him was playing fly on the wall. Fucking pussy," Fia clenched her fists and bared her fangs as she growled. The voice that came out was not her usual tone. She was starting to sound like the bum...

"I want to fucking KILL him. Tear him to pieces with my own teeth! None of this wouldn't have happened if he had taken his fucking thumb out of his ASS!"

Fia gave her head a shake, "I'm sorry. This isn't me. It's...Him..." she whimpered as she put her head in her hands.

After a moment, she straightened up and composed herself, "Chaz... The one that got away... He took a lot of blood from me. When we were attacked by the second one, the one I... I didn't have much of a chance. All I remember before was birdies dancing in front of my eyes. After that... Everything went misty, and I felt like I was being swallowed," Fia recalled with disgust,"When I came back, I was on top of him and my-" Her hands flew up to cover her face, "My eyes were like this. I don't really remember anything during the... Diablory."

"When I came back to reality, we kept moving and found the third one. He was trying to eat Papillion's leg. I kicked him in the nuts. Really hard, I might add." She chuckled. The smile left her face to be replaced by a deep flush. She didn't like the residuals that kept taking over her mouth. "Sorry," she continued, "We taped him up and brought him here. That pussy didn't even help us carry the fucker."

Fia cleared her throat and blinked a few times.

Wednesday April 22nd, 4:55 - 6:27 am.  -  Hamilton - Vic- Delta Squad

BP 13 (11) W 5 (4) H 7(7)

Vic wandered away from whitehern invisible but also in a haze, his world shattered from the events of this night, and wandered towards the james street stairs. Dazedly watching the city wake, as a drunk rising from the gutter after a night of debauchery, the few early risers shuffling to the bus stops on their way to work, a few motorists on their way home and the kine of the night scurrying from the light they know is coming.

Desperately Vic wanted life to go back to the way it had been, that he could go back to hiding on his territory, protecting only those he deemed to need it and pretending that it would have been enough to earn his redemption. It was all a lie, everything his Sire had taught him of Kindred, Kine and the changes the sect wanted to bring to them all in those months of imprisonment after his embrace. But it never would, even after the Sabbat had been chased from the city, because of those moments in the awful boardroom, when Lobo's courage his brashness rubbed off on him causing him to do what he wouldn't have done 24 hours earlier. Sit in Spider's chair, stand up to the Prince Lobo or any of the new Brujah wouldn't call it standing up to the prince but for Vic...

And worst taking Mike on as a childe, he would have to bring him into his haven at least for now, but he wouldn't be able to train him in accordance with the teachings of the sect and if they found out that he was potentially putting their secrets at risk this way... well some Nosferatu could be be as effective as Assimites.

Shaking his head, realizing he was outside century manor already, the familiar surroundings bringing some semblance of order to his mind. "Whats done is done, it can't be changed for worrying, its late and there's still much to do" he whispered to himself turning from his sanctuary he proceeded across the hospital grounds and across the street to the Arnie, the college pub he owned that was; along with his sanctuary one of the last three buildings remaining from the original Hamilton Asylum.

Proceeding to the door Vic knocked and hearing the loading of a shotgun he whistled, a few seconds passed before the return whistle drifted over the air followed by the sound of the door being unlocked. Slipping inside he looked around, all seemed normal "Charlie everything go OK"

"Yeah everything was fine here, we just locked up and sat tight, what the hell is going on?" Charlie said in hushed urgency

"there's a war going on, I can't get into to much details right now but the pub is going to be closed for renovations for the next couple weeks except for the regulars. Your brother's in the area, give him a call let him know your safe, he knows whats happening in the city... he helped me out earlier. I just need to feed then we can call tony to give everyone rides home, tell them drinks are half price for the next couple weeks and pay tony from tonight's till" the next five minutes are spent mingling, Vic knew from the outside others would see this as some freak fetish cult with these otherwise normal people gathering, sharing their life with each other while waiting for the Shadow of the Asylum to come and drink some of each of their blood but the truth was they each had either been protected by him or had people they cared for protected by him and they had decided to help him help others before Vic fed just a drop from each so they were virtually unaffected by the loss.

BP 13 (13) W 5 (4) H 7(7)

With only a little under an hour till sunrise Vic returned to Century Manor and slipped into the basement, the soft sound of creatures crawling, buzzing, hissing and more filled his ears and soothed his thoughts and he spent the next half hour tending to the various Hives, colonies and aquariums of all his little friends.

He then proceeded to the small 3x3 room with the iron door the room he had been reborn in and shut and locked the door behind him, stripped out of his clothes and removed the cilice from around his thigh before kneeling and lighting a candle
"I haven't left enough time for proper penance... I'll have to be more rigorous then" he then picked up a length of heavy knotted rope... and began to beat it across his shoulders and back and chanting the mantra passed down through the sect from sire to childe, he continued with blood trickling down his back until the sun rose and he passed into oblivion.

Antigen listened to Fias story. When she finished he sat motionless and in silence for several long moments. "I am not a tyrant Fia, but you have broken one of the most important laws were hold here in Hamilton. Even if you did it while in frenzy the fact of the matter is you have diablarized someone. Tell me if you were sitting in this seat and you were me, what would you do?"

Rory nodded at Jareth's story. It wasn't an unusual case. Dogs trained to guard often attacked unsuspecting Kine and Kindred alike, even children. Cash himself was prone to attacking when he felt threatened. Helpful for battle, but a problem when the Gangrel wasn't there to tell him to back off.

The younger Kindred waived her hand passively as Iggy offered her the cigar. "I don't smoke. But thanks, though," she said, admiring the things in spite of her hatred for the taste of them. 'Those look expensive,' she admired inwardly, her face reflecting the thought a little.

Wednesday April 22nd, 4:51-5:15 am.  Downtown -  Delta Force - Vincent

Vincent gathered up his group and put them in the Jimmy. He pointed out several bars and clubs in the downtown area. The rooftop on Jackson Sqaure is the only really off limits place in this immediate area. The Clan Elder of the Nosferatu has claimed that area as well as the go station and surrounding half block radius as his feeding grounds."

He drove up from that area to make sure the girls knew what areas to avoid. And eventually turned onto Hess. As he drove down the street and crossed King they were greeted with a small street length of maybe 12 clubs/bars. "This is Hess Village as we call it. Mostly the university and College kids come here to party but its pretty busy every night so you can guarantee to find something here to feed from. Just remember the last call is at 2am and the bars are closed by 2:30 and they start clearing people out. Come 3:30am its a ghost town here."

Vincent drove past the strip of now closed bars and headed off to a gas station on Barton Street to fill up the gas tank. "Barton is good if its late at night. We have a fair amount of street walkers. Twenty bucks will get them in the car and if you aren't choosy they will work but be aware alot of them do drugs so you take your chances of getting tainted blood. Do not hunt north past barton. That is the Brujah hunting grounds. Cera you will have access to them likely the flavor of the northenders tends to be a bit more rough. Its all industrial and blue collar neighbourhoods. Its the old section of town. The running joke being with some of us that its the ghetto. But it is by far that in comparison to the projects in NewYork. There are usually people around at all hours of the night from older people walking pets to the unemployed that are out visiting friends to small time drug dealers. The Hells Angel's also have a club house set up in their territory. It would be wise not to feed from them however since they have ties with Both the Brujah leader and her second."

Once they were gassed up Vincent drove the girls back to 23 Tisdale and parked in the apartments parking lot. "And this would be where you ladies are staying. Likely Antigen has sent a ghoul or two up to the apartments to ready them for you guys and have your luggage brought up. Before you go I so want to ask a few questions so that we can be prepared for tomorrow night. How much combat experience do you ladies have. As well what disciplines do you have at your beck and call and what other useful skills do you have at your disposal that might be useful for our scouting party."

The Prince sighed. "The rules of this city state that consuming a vampire in his or her entirety will result in execution, for someone that is slated for death your answers seam rather weak Fia. Try and humor me. I do understand that this is a war time situation and that you did not actively seek out and murder this Kindred intentionally. Do you think you deserve to die for you actions? If not death what sort of punishment do you think would be worthy?"

"You show great and sincere remorse for you actions Fia. Because of the fact that this was a war time situation I will not put you to death though I am in my full rights. You have been a law abiding member of this City since your arrival and I've never had an incident or a whispered word of you doing anything wrong. For that reason this is my ruling. Go forth and help your fellow Kindred. Fight with them and protect them. I will not pass judgment on your solely but we will once this war is over hold court and your peers will be the ones to judge you not I. Be aware however that the actions you preform in this war will likely be the key to having others judgment softened come the time of the court session. This is my decision on this matter Fia and so it shall stand. I have faith that you will be able to partially redeem yourself by sharing your experience and remorse with others. Now go. The morning is not that long away and your party members await you outside."  The Prince replied softly.

Iggy noted Rorys eyes admiring the cigar and case.

Some things are worth the expense and no I spare no expense on them.  The case though that was truly expense.  Five days of metal working with tweezers and magnifying glasses.  Hammers and blowtorches are more my usual tools.  Almost fucking frenzied in frustration on the second day and smashed it to pieces.

Iggy pointed to the inner side of the lid, See those bands of metal, theyre actually fused together, so the pattern repeats on the inside as well.  One of my finer pieces and it is but one of three.  The other two are still in Edinburgh with friends of mine.

Looking at the sky Iggy continued, I hope wardrobe choices havent delayed Angel and Jallyn.

Although, Iggy joked his concern was apparent in his eyes. Making him appear more like a den mother then a Brujah.

Wednesday April 22nd, 4:50  am - Angel's haven -   Team Beta - Jallyn

Jallyn had been listening and polite speaking with Angel as he rummaged around his place looking for something that Jallyn could fit into. However the red head was petite and leggy so the end result was difficult.

After some searching Angel found a pair of track pants and a track suit top that zipped up. She looked at the black and grey clothing and nodded wandering into the bathroom.

She appeared a moment or two later in the track suit. She had cinch the draw string as tight as it would go and the legs were maybe an inch or two too long for the leggy Toreador. As was the top. Her bust helped fill out some of the room that was lacking from not having a set of wide and manly shoulders, but the suit was ill fitting. She didn't complain however. The hospital greens were bloodied and even if she looked slightly silly in the ill fitting clothes it was better than what she had been wearing. Atleast now she had a chance to blend into shadows she just prayed that the pants would stay firmly tied. Nothing could be more embarrassing than losing them and falling on her face if they were in the heat of a fight.

"So Mr. Angelino... How bad is it?" She asked as she let him inspect to see if the clothing was acceptable to her team leader.

Wednesday April 22nd, 5:17 am.  Whitehern – Delta team – Tamara
BP 12/12,   HP 7/7,   H 4/4,   WP 6/6

Tamara rode in silence, taking mental notes of her surroundings and the ground rules Vincent was laying down. She hoped someone had put some paper and pencil in the apartment so she could write down the basics from the night. Too many details and too many new people… far beyond of what she was used to, felt comfortable with or plain liked.

And with the Brujah that occupied the seat by her, there was one too many right there in the Jimmy. Thankfully she had been silent all the way. The gypsy knew she would have to work with the other female, but frankly, the way she had behaved, Tamara’s antisocial preferences were kicking in really hard. At least 2 out of the other 3 members hadn’t been that bad on first impressions. Waylon had seemed a bit of a short fused guy and that could mean trouble in battle situations; Seth seemed to be more in control, even if Tam didn’t know their actual battle skills. The last member though…. She hadn’t been able to gather much from the Vic guy; he hadn’t even introduced himself though Nosferatu was a pretty safe bet. However, he had spoken against the petty quarrels that had been going on and he had been worried about protecting his territory. Well, next evening should prove interesting… though perhaps not as much as the introductions with the team Kaspar was in were going when they left the parking lot. Tamara smirked to herself remembering some of the colorful expressions she had heard coming from the huge team leader.  She herself wasn’t too comfortable with fire too close by, neither in human nor in wolf form, but it did held a hypnotic and nostalgic attraction… perhaps from her days around the bonfires.

The car stopping and Vincent’s questions pulled her out of her reverie though. *Not too shabby* she thought as she looked up from the window. After all, she had spent uncounted days just under the ground. An actual bed and bath was a real luxury.

“Experience?” Tamara asked, slightly shaking her head as a flood of unwanted images were summoned. “Enough I’d say,” she started, but then mumbled to herself “… though never enough … always too much….” She remained silent for a few minutes, staring blankly outside and hoping Cera would speak first while she cleared her mind. In the end, Tamara knew it was a reasonable question and one she would like answered regarding the rest of the members of the team, so she gathered herself and turned to look at Vincent. “I’ll avoid confrontation as much as possible,” she began, opening her arms in a display of her petite form. “As you can see, strength is not exactly my strongest point, but I’m capable to defend myself enough to get out and much more able with ranged. I can use both knives and wood, though I prefer the first and I despise guns. I’m not bad at tracking and can stealth enough to keep me alive while doing so, either in human or wolf forms. I know death from up close and I’m not queasy about it but there are those I will not touch.”

Her teammates were waiting for her outside. She nodded to Xiaoqing, her fellow Gangrel. Xiaoqing was older in age, but Fia had been Kindred for longer. In their clan, they were family.

"So you do metal work, huh?" Rory asked admiringly, "Never met anyone who could make something like that... It's impressive!" She looked at the metal bands on the inside and listened carefully as he explained the way they were fused. T

he Gangrel hadn't learned a thing about Iggy's kind of work, and that's what made it so interesting. If there was one thing she could retain from her old life, it was her hunger for new knowledge. And amongst the diverse Kindred - not to mention in Hamilton - there was much to learn.

Wednesday April 22nd, ~5:15am - In transit, Hamilton - Cera

Cera accepted the proffered ride in Vincent's car. It didn't really matter where he took her, the point was that he took her away from the meeting hall at a good clip that meant she didn't have to walk. Sitting in the back seat of the large car she crossed her legs, the toe of her shoe wedged between the front seat and the side panel, her knee cushioned by the back of the chair. She sat in silence, staring out the window, watching the city fly by her. As Vincent spoke, she barely acknowledged his words with more than a subtle glance in his direction.

Compared to New York... she had the distinct feeling that Hamilton would be like...

Cera mulled it over in her head a bit. What would it be like?

....camping...

Came the unexciting reply.

Occasionally she would feel herself come under scrutiny from one of the other people in the car, their eyes raking over her face and form, taking her measure and wondering what she was about. She knew she had been overly bold and unacceptably outspoken. That man had been but a toy, a plaything. He'd been so angry that he'd lashed out for no particular reason over an imagined slight. She had simply... risen to the occasion.

Fortune favors the bold...

In the States there seemed a completely different scale by which people were judged. From the very foundations of its history people that were revolutionary, forthright, and steadfast were lauded as the heroes of the time. A person could be outspoken and overly bold and still be considered good people. Those that spoke their mind and had their own opinions were, if not always agreed with, at least respected for the fact that they had the independent nature to form those opinions.

New York city was the melting pot's nexus. It was a conglomeration of every race, background, wealth, personality, art, and culture. It was somewhat expected that not every person would be white, soft-spoken and exactly like the person next to them.

As they pulled up to the apartment complex that was to house several of the newcomers, she heaved a sigh. Vincent began to speak again and she popped open the car door, intending to vacate here and walk the rest of the way. Cera retrieved a brightly-colored sticky note from her jeans pocket. After the ordeal of the day the note was folded, rumpled and half of a mess but as she slowly unballed the little lump of paper the information was still there. She glanced at it a moment then peered in the direction that they had come from. Her brow furrowed for a moment then she nodded.

Blue eyes turned back toward Vincent and she waited for the others to finish.

"I've a fair amount of strength," She told him. "I could probably hold my own if necessary but I love a good handgun. Also, I can commit things to memory without a second thought."

Cera stretched, her body enjoyed the sudden motion that was directly in opposition of the stillness that had been nearly the entire day.

"See you tonight..." She said, and she turned to walk away.....

Once Jareth had taken a cigar Iggy returned the case to his jacket.  Iggy continued for a bit talking about his art.  And had been very good at not mentioning Helen at all, attempting instead to enjoy the rush of being an artist, however as always Helen entered the subject.

"If you would to see more examples of my work, you would have to visit my studio.  Maybe once you and the city is settled.  None of my pieces are displayed at Hamilton's Art Gallery.  Helen, you haven't met her, she is the head of the Toreadors and also controls the gallery's acquisitions.  She has issue with both modern metal sculpture and a Brujah as an artist."

As Iggy continued his stance became rigid, his eyes stared ahead as if seeing someone not there as his free hand curled into a fist.

"Criticism is an artist's bread and butter, and one day I will create a piece so magnificent that even that cunt's cold heart will melt.  That day she will be able to deny me more."

Iggy stopped abruptly and turned away from the other two vampires.  Iggy's shoulders heaved and the Brujah's arms tense and then eased.  Turning back to the new Hamlltonians, the happy friendly face once again showing Iggy smiled, "Enough about me though, so Jareth, Rory what about you hobbies, interests?"

Iggy's brutal attempt to alter the topic was obvious, he just hoped that the others would pick up his hint.

MODERATORS NOTE: Artrus it is not yet 6:30am in the morning. I ask that you not make such large time leaps especially when there is a scene pertaining to your group. Change your time and please be aware of you do wander off that your actions need to be at least open ended enough for the other players to still call out to you before you exit the scene.

For Delta Force the current time should be 5:16 -5:17 in around that time. Artrus and Numenya please adjust your posts accordingly.

Thank you

As the team crossed Hunter Street Lobo paused.  "Might as well check the church.  Hasn't been used in years."

Lobo lead the group to an old Presbyterian Church located next to Central Public School.  Spotting a black tomcat coming out from under the Iggy called it over.  Getting lower Lobo stared into the creature's eyes.

"Hello  Handsome, that is a fine majestic coat you have, have you been eating well?"

Lobo listened for a moment as the cat mewed amd meowed back.

"Have you see anyone in the church lately?"

"Meow"

"You just got here too.  Is there a way in?  Would you scout inside for me?"

"Mew, Purr"

Standing again holding the cat Lobo looked at his mates.  "There is an opening that we can into the church through.  It is big even for my friend here to get in.  He agree to lead us to the opening and to scout in side.  Might even stay for a bit longer tonight too."

Lobo put the cat done and it started to trot around to the back of the old church, Lobo followed.
