Wednesday April 22nd, 4:44 am. Whitehern – Tamara
“Before we go, if I may,” Tamara began, speaking for the first time since the introductions and calling out to Vincent and trying to catch up with him, “I would need to present my respects to my clan leader if he or she is around.” Her words were paused, as she tried to sort the sheer amount of information she had absorbed during the night.
As the meeting had progressed, the gypsy had become aware of some important facts: things were kind’a chaotic, people were not trained, communications were lacking… but above all…. this was the ideal environment the Priest would love. A shudder had run down her back and she was unable to suppress it as the Prince finished his briefing.
She hoped at least their assigned leader could be trusted though. A Toreador hardly seemed like the best fighter nor strategist, but at least he and the rest of her team kept a cool head when the can of worms was opened by Boogie’s big mouth and then by the childish bickering among Wylon and Cera. At least by now things seemed to be sorted out… mostly. Tamara was certain the new yorker would soon become a liability.
The gypsy did not care for leadership positions, neither to withhold one nor to respect one, but well, it seemed like a reasonable thing given the situation. Of her assigned delta team, she only knew Seth and Cera, and she was sure she didn’t like the last. The gypsy did not think a person that could not speak straight could be trusted. Once she had been welcomed, Tamara had nodded and sat down, remaining silent and making mental notes of those around her and any tidbits of what she should know and what was left to do. For starters she found herself changing her opinion about this Cera character… From being nicely quiet she’d turned to someone bit too twisted minded or at least who liked secrets and mind games. That was something Tamara did not like… not at all. Either speak straightforward or not at all…. not that she couldn’t manage some subterfuge, lies or whatever was needed in order to survive, since she had done it countless times, but not among kin.
