August 15th 1:42 pm 2058 - Inside Crusher 495 -Stalker

Stalker looked at Raven and cocked an eyebrow but said nothing. He looked at Lobo to see if he had heard her comment and what his reaction to it was if so. He held up a finger to Raven to catch her attention.

Lobo accepted his portion of Raven's lunch with relish.  Although it appeared so, his attention wasn't entirely on the food but where the rest of it was focused was anyone's guess.  He clearly wasn't listening in on Raven's phone call or else he was staying out of her business.

Raven caught Stalkers motion and raised her eyebrows inquisitively as she waited for Josie to answer.

Quietly to Raven he says, "You might try Loveland. There's a guy there that manages to keep things pretty calm and several groups are starting to use it as a neutral territory."

"My friend seems to think that possibly LoveLand might be a negotiable spot since its as neutral as one can get in the barrens. Is that do able Josie?" Raven asked.

"That wouldn't happen to be your ex Red Dragon buddy, would it?"  Josie asked.  "I don't run any whores down there so we'll be a little out of our turf but I've heard that there is a mage that patrols down there and he don't take kindly to anybody stirring up drek.  I hope he's willing to listen to reason because I don't want to tangle with anybody that far from home."

"Nope not Steelpoint. Just another buddy. We should be fine there but honestly if you want I can come into your neck of the woods.  I could probably be there in half an hour. Im just waiting on Steelpoint to show up actually to access some damages done to someones bike out here. Couple of jerks jumped out of a truck with shot guns to try and stir up shit. Shits cleared but yeah someone needs an estimate. Can it wait that long?" She asked.

Having done his good deed for the moment, he turned to Lobo, "You OK, man? You're a little distracted."

"Maybe burger not sitting good. You should try salad instead." the expression on his face and tone of voice make it difficult to tell if he's joking, serious, or just poking fun at him.

"I don't know if I can wait that long, Raven," the voice on the phone said, a hint of amusement creeping into it.  "The try-outs are next month.  I can be there by three.  What about you?"

"Nothing wrong, chummer,"  Lobo said.  "Just keeping an eye open.  Still waiting for the explosion, if you know what I mean.  I'm not planning on jumping on the grenade so I'm watching for bad bounces so I know which way to duck."

Stalker smiled slightly at Patch's comment then nodded at Lobo and gave him a lopsided smile, "Your former running mate seems a bit out of her element. Do you think she's looking for you or is this just a happy coincidence?"

"Three works for me Josie. We will see you then alright?" Raven ended the call but there was a lot on her mind. It was a bad spot of luck and ok maybe she had been overtly paranoid. Sports weren't worth kill for. She would just have to learn a bit more and do what she could to make sure Dennis would pull though and get his chance.

August 15th 1:43 pm 2058 - Outside Crusher 495

The sound of a motorcycle protesting about the abuse it was being put through filled the street.  Two things were obvious about the rider; he was highly skilled and he was in a hurry.  His White Eagle swung into a parking spot, the tires smoking and screaming and he had the kickstand down and was on the sidewalk even before the last of the engine's sounds died.

He looked at the collection of bikes in the street and headed straight for the door into Crusher.  "Raven?"

It was obvious that he was a grease monkey but it was equally obvious that he kept himself in excellent shape.  His t-shirt was stained with a variety of different mechanical fluids but was cropped to reveal a set of well toned and well tanned abs.  There was a tattoo visible on the inside of his left forearm, the feathered end of an arrow that started near his wrist and disappeared through a scar just below his elbow.

"Hey, Aaron!"  Isaac called out in greeting.  "She's over there, safe and sound and floating on a sea of troubles like a cork."

August 15th 1:43 pm 2058 - Inside Crusher 495 - Lobo

"Only one way to find out if she's waiting to get me alone,"  Lobo said.  He slid out of the booth.  "Sit down, shorty,"  he said to the newcomer.  "You should know by now that nothing ever happens to Raven.  Things happen around her."

He looked over his shoulder at Kahlia, then walked outside.

Stalker worked steadily on devouring his burger and studied Aaron. Always good to remember everything you could about someone you might want to keep as a contact.

With the meeting with Josie bumped forward a bit, she could sit down and enjoy her burger.

When Aaron walked in Raven waved him over. "Hey there thanks for coming. This would be my friend with the bike issue. She can take you outside to go over the damages and you guys can talk shop."

August 15th 1:44 pm 2058 - Inside Crusher 495 - Steelpoint

Aaron stopped and just shook his head.  "You made it sound like there was a running gun battle about to break out and yet here I find you sitting calmly chowing down.  You really hurt my head some times, Raven.  You just really hurt my head.  Which bike is it?  From what I could see there were two that needed work plus at least one that is desperately in need of a paint job."

"Ummm not the green one... And also yeah I said there was stuff going down but its overwith. If it was really that dangerous I wouldn't have asked for you to come over. Rainbow took care of it just before you showed up so were good. Why don't you ask the young lady which bike is hers..." Raven said pointing to Khalia.

Watching Lobo get up and head for the door, Patch turns to Stalker, "You think she go she him?" he pauses not really expecting an answer. He looks the man up and down then asks the only question he really cares to hear the answer to, "So ... vhat weapon you use. I guess high caliber hand gun." he strokes his chin with his hand then ventures a guess, "I think maybe, Predator or Manhunter ... yes that seem like it fit you vell."

August 15th 1:44 pm 2058 - Inside Crusher 495 - Stalker

He followed Lobo with his eyes for a moment and shrugged at the initial question posed by Patch. He chuckled slightly and turned to look at patch as he guessed at Stalker's preferred firearm. "I do prefer my Predator if I have to use a gun. You must be a helluva gunsmith to have a reputation that catches the attention of the Rainbow Anarchist." He cocked his head to one side and eyed the troll curiously up and down, trying to get a sense for the person and where he came from. His eyes briefly flickered down to the troll's prosthetic and said, "I'm impressed by the dedication you have to your craft to have accomplished so much." He surreptitiously drew and slid his well-used but cared for weapon over to the troll, curious about what his reaction and comments, if anything, would be.

Patch looks up to Stalker and begins to pick up the piece then looks at Stalker, "Is ok?" gesturing at the weapon.

Stalker nods, "Be my guest."

August 15th 1:45 pm 2058 - Inside Crusher 495 - Patch

With quick flick of his wrist and a metallic click had the barrel in his hand and was setting the handle down on the bar with is hook. He looked down the barrel then picks up a napkin twists the corner and wipes the bottom of the inside of the barrel. He then exams the residue on the napkin for a moment. He then puts the napkin down picks up the hand, looks at the different mechinisms like a jeweler appraising a ring. After several tiny manipulations and inspections hit slides the barrel back into place flips the firearm in his hand and presents it back to Stalker handle first.

"You do vell taking care of dis." he smiles knowingly "However, it in need of work. You notice spread getting vider?"

"Thanks. It has been getting a bit wider but I couldn't find anything wrong with it and it isn't too bad at this point so I haven't been too worried about it. I figured I would take it to a smith sometime and have them give it a once over."
