"If you could call back with a list of names that would be wonderful,"  Chantal said.  "We need to make sure people understand how important it is to return this sort of call. I hope the rest of your evening goes well for you."

"I'm getting that look,"  Ryan said.  "What have I done or haven't I done?  I know it's one of those two, because everyone woman has perfected asking that question silently with just her eyebrows."  He paused, thinking furiously.  "I'm in trouble, aren't I?  I can't remember."

September 1st, 3:40 a.m.  - -  Club Sanguina  - -  Elisabeta

Elisabeta hung up and went back to the dance floor.  She whispered into her dance partners ear, gave him a nibble on the neck and then went in search of the other vampires in the club.  She spotted Herr Wilhelm still at the table where she had left him and angled that way.  When she reached the table she bent down and whispered the message to call Archangle Towers.  Elisabeta then made a circuit of the main room and spread the word among the others as well as collecting their names for her return call.  She then headed back to the private feeding area and jotted down the message on a note pad and had one of the girls working the room take it around for her.  She waited for the young lady to return with the list of names so she could call it in with the rest of them.  It took almost a full five minutes before the woman returned and handed her a short list of names.

Elisabeta thanked the young lady and went back out to the main room.  She pushed her way to a rather quiet corner and placed her return call to Archangle Towers with the names of those at the club.

Shale had to laugh at Ryan.  She knew she should be mad at him but the look on his face was just short of comical.  "You forgot my lemon drops didn't you?"  There was a decisive tone of laughter in her voice.  She shook her head.  "That's the last time I send you to the store mister."  She tried to make her voice sound stern and failed miserably.

"I am accustomed to undercover work.  There are no set hours when you do that kind of work I'm afraid.  But don't you worry.  If the Marines taught me anything it was how to be flexible with my sleep schedule."  He gave her a brilliant smile as he absently scratched behind Lucky's ears.  "I would be much obliged with any help you could give me in finding a place to live.  And meeting the rest of the team sounds like a good plan.  But what about Lucky.  I'm not going to leave her in the truck in this heat and the desk Sarge said I couldn't take her in with me."

"Thank you for your assistance, Contessa,"  Chantal said, her voice bubbly as always.  "Everyone on that list, with the exception of Wilhelm has already called in and I think his contact information hasn't been added to our system yet.  He may have called Mr Salvatore directly but knowing that he is with his sponsor is good enough.  Thanks again."

"I have an excuse!"  Ryan protested, also trying to sound serious and laughing.  "There was this guy and he had a gun and he stole all the lemon drops from the store, just before I got there."  He looked at Shale.  "You wouldn't happen to be a Damon Runyon fan, would you?"

September 1st, 11:09 a.m.  - -  Seattle Police Station  - -  Suki

"Come on I'll let you in the back. We can show you around. Introduce you to your desk and I'll get you the information on those rooms for rent. I need to go look them up. We do have a K-9 unit I can call down there and see if they would let lucky hang out in a kennel and have a fresh bowl of water until we settle things down in here. That way she can stay cool and won't be 'causing trouble' as the sarge would like to think." Suki replied. She motioned for him to follow and they walked around to the back of the station where the Kennels were. It also happened to be more convenient since her departments office was down in the back. Tucked away and hidden as if it were an embarrassment.

September 1st, 3:51 a.m.  - -  Club Sanguina  - -  Elisabeta

Elisabeta said her good days, hung up and weaved her way back to the dance floor.  As soon as she reached the edge her partner for the evening angled through the crowd towards her.  They met back up some where near the middle of the crowded area.  "Please excuse me for leaving you alone for so long.  I had some rather urgent business that needed my attention."  She gave him a brilliant smile.  "But I am yours for the rest of the night," her breath had a husky undertone that he was sure not to miss.

September 1st, 1:21 a.m.  - -  The Bar  - -  Shale

Shale laughed at Ryan's feeble attempts at an excuse.  She handed him the vodka bottle and stood.  "I just hope you didn't forget to grab all those energy drinks."  Gesturing to the two wolves making public spectacles of themselves, "Those two are going to need to refuel soon with the pace they are setting for each other.  I am going to stretch my legs and go get those lemon drops."  Giving her mate a quick kiss she headed for the door.  "Do I need to grab anything else while I am out or did you remember your gummy worms?"  Trying to look cross with him and not quite pulling it off, Shale broke into a wide smile.

September 1st, 11:10 a.m.  - -  Seattle Police Station  - -  Daniel

Daniel and Lucky followed the young woman around the building to the kennels and a back entrance.  Lucky started straining at her leash the moment she caught the scent of the police dogs in their kennels.  'Woof, woof, woof."  Her tail wagged a mile a minute.  Daniel laughed.  "It looks like Lucky can't wait to meet your K-9 members.  You don't think there will be a problem with a strange dog being in the kennel area, do you?"  The concern about what might occur was evident in his voice.

"Not to worry each dog has its separate kennel. She will be fine." Suki replied confidently as they made their way into the kennels.

It took sever minutes of talking to the officer on duty but he finally agreed to house Lucky for the afternoon until the new officer (Daniel) got his things in order for the day.

"We'll take good care of her,"  the canine officer said.  "Come back soon, thought or we'll have this little girl trained up to working status before you can blink.  She'll outrank you and retire with a pension before you even get all the one way streets sorted out.  Any special treat she likes?"

The back half of the building obviously belonged to the dog lovers and it was likely that the desk sergeant never came back to this area if he could at all avoid it.

He was one part necrophiliac and one part fang junkie but he had enough of a brain to keep those two sides of his personality carefully in check when he was in the club.  Most vampires wouldn't want to have anything to do with him if the discovered how eager he was to deal with them on those two levels.  He also happened to be relatively attractive, a decent dancer and possessed of good taste in clothing and cologne.

"I'd like to see where this evening is going to take us,"  he said with a grin.  "Certainly not into the back rooms here.  It's so much a cliche."

Ryan held up a bag full of cans.  From his lips dangled a red and yellow gummy worm..  "Oh yeah, we're good.  Hurry back, love.  I'm a little outnumbered here."  By this point, Andrew was break dancing, spinning on his shoulders at speed that the eye had trouble following.

September 3rd   9:00 pm  - -  Archangel Towers  - -  Nigel Salvatore

"Thank you for coming,"  Nigel said as he entered the board room, Waylon Crosby at his side and Brandy only a half step behind him.  Many of the others present  had no idea about the significance of the room.  It was the most secure meeting room in the city.  Maintaining the wards that kept out evil influences was taxing in the extreme and the Master of the City forbade its use in any but the most extreme emergencies.  Nigel didn't have any trouble putting that label on the situation.

"I'm sure most of you know each other within your respective groups and may have heard of or encountered some of the others. Introductions can be done later.  Given the varied nature of those present, I'm sure you can understand without my indication that the situation is well beyond the point where normal means of containment are possible.  That is why I have brought you all here."  He looked around the room at the gathering of vampires, cops and others.  "We are seriously up shit creek," he said.

OOC:  I would like all vampire PCs to post their presence at this meeting, as well as all the members of the police preternatural crimes unit.  Shapeshifters were extended an invitation.  The respective leaders though the situation dire enough to send representation.  Father Domenic Sozio is also present and it won't require any special senses to tell that he is walking a fine line between terror and impatience.

There have been several gruesome rape/murders over the past few nights.  The targets have been nuns, for the most part but in at least two cases a vampire or shapeshifter (in this case a wererat) attempted to intervene and was torn apart, literally.  In none of the cases did anyone hear anything.

September 3rd   9:00 pm  - -  Archangel Towers- Malaki

Malaki stood in the left corner behind Nigel. He looked out at the room of gathered members of different organizations. "Scared sheep" he thought to himself failing to acknowledge the own uneasiness of his heart. Malaki shifted his weight sending his long black hair fall infront of his face. A liquid like movement sent the flowing lock behind his ear before his hand found his way back into the pocket of his light jacket. The comfort of a tiny wooden object made him grin ever so slightly showing only in his eyes.

September 3rd, 9:02 p.m.  - -  Archangel Towers  - -  Elisabeta

Elisabeta was standing behind Nigel close to the door and a quick exit should it be warranted.  She was not expecting any trouble here in Archangel Towers but one could never be sure of such things.  She had dressed in a deep purple corset with tight black jeans and boots the same shade as the corset.  Her hair was left down tonight to frame her face and flow down her back.  As everyone got seated and settled she studied them.  Trying to find anything that would indicate a weakness or an opening should this turn into a fight.  A pleasant smile was on her lips but it did not reach her eyes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

September 3rd, 9:02 p.m.  - -  Archangel Towers  - -  Daniel

Daniel had gotten the 5 minute tour of the unit on the first.  He had been hastily introduced to the other members that were in at the time, shown his desk, handed a stack of papers that had to be filled out and returned the next day and then he was given a mapquest printout of a map and directions from the police station to the boarding house.  He had gone back and collected Lucky, who was none to eager to leave the other dogs behind, and headed to see if he could get a room for the next month or so till he was able to find a decent apartment.  He found the boarding house in one of the not so nice blue collar neighbor hoods but it was better than some of the places he had used when he was undercover.  The man at the front desk wasn't going to let Daniel have a room if he planned on keeping Lucky in there with him.  Daniel finally convinced the man that Lucky was going to be trained by the Seattle Police Department and that she was not going to be in the room all day long without him there to watch her.  So he finally got a room and got the truck unloaded.

The rest of that day was busy with filling out the paper work required by the Police Department and the City of Seattle, unpacking things that really needed to be unpacked, finding a place to take Lucky running and familiarising himself with the city.  The next day he was back at the Preternatural Unit at 8:00 a.m. to turn in the paper work, get his locker and get familiar with the way they worked.

Tonight was the first time he had been allowed out with the rest of them.  There had been two calls the day before but it was decided that he should remain in the office due to his unfamiliarity with the city and its denizens.  He was sitting with the rest of the unit dressed in a navy blue suit with a pale cream color shirt and a light blue tie.  The only silver he had on him was the fully loaded clip in his Sig-Sauer P226 Tactical 9 mm.  He had only loaded one clip with silver bullets, not wanting to make anyone too uncomfortable, with the amount of silver that was already sure to be at the meeting.  The only people he knew there were the other members of the unit and Father Sozio whom he had met at the station.  But he was sure that he would be acquainted with most if not all of the others before long.

September 3rd   9:00 pm  - -  Archangel Towers  - -  Nigel Salvatore & Father Domenic Sozio

The power dynamic in the room was bizarre.  It had to be, because the man who was arguable the most powerful being in the city turned the meeting over to one who possessed absolutely no preternatural ability.  A sight shudder went through the priest when Nigel called upon him to take the podium.

He was sweating profusely and the interplay of preternatural auras could be doing nothing to improve his calm, despite his claims of being a null.  He laughed nervously and wrapped his fingers around the edges of the podium top.  "Thank you for that succinct description of the situation we are in, Mr Salvatore.  I would have used a slightly different description but it will serve well enough."

He paused to look out at the small crowd.  Many could smell that he hadn't bathed recently and he looked like he'd been wearing the same clothes for several days.  "The problem Mr Salvatore is referring to is the presence of a rogue vampire.  The reason that all the groups in this room have been called to work together on this is simple.  Nobody wants any single group going off half cocked and trying to take this rogue on by themselves.  He's already killed one vampire and a wererat and if his actions fall in line with his previous patterns, then several more of each are going to die.  The prevailing theory is that we are dealing with a man who was abused by members of an order of nuns as a child, likely when he was a student.  He's getting his revenge on them.  He's also been luring preternatural creatures into the area where he attacks his human victims, the theory being that he is demonstrating how powerful he is by killing them and still being able to finish his original task."

Domenic paused slightly, looking over his shoulder at the Contessa.  "Seattle isn't the first place he's done this.  Contessa Elisabeta Dragomir has carried a warrant for his execution, issued by the Master of the City of   Jakarta, Indonesia.  I'll let her fill you in on his activities there."

He stepped away from the podium, motioning for the vampire to step forward.

September 3rd, 9:01 p.m.  - -  Archangel Towers  - -  Elisabeta

Elisabeta stepped forward slightly irritated.  She hadn't planned on briefing everyone on the situation, only being on hand in case she was needed to answer questions.  But she had to admit that she was probably more suited then the good father to let everyone know what this rogue was capable of.  She gave Father Sozio a small smile as she took his place at the podium.  "Thank you Father."  She cleared her throat, not out of any real need but more as a means to take a couple of minutes to collect her thoughts.  "Father Sozio is correct that I have been dispatched with a warrant for this rogue.  But I am afraid that he did get some facts wrong.  First of all I was not sent by the Master of Jakarta but by the Master of Soroca in Moldavia.  I have tracked this rogue from Moldavia half way around the world till I nearly caught him in Jakarta.  It was from there that I was able to track him here to Seattle."

She paused for a moment to let this news sink in and then continued.  "The rogue is a male vampire that stand between 5'6" and 6'1" and is about 210 lbs.  He has short black hair and green eyes.  Unfortunately that is the only description I have of him and before the question comes up, no I am not aware of any photographs that exist of him.  The crime he committed in Soroca was an attack on a convent where he killed nearly 20 nuns and illegally turned two others.  I heard only yesterday that both of those two girls did not survive.  One took her own life and the other had to be destroyed.  This rogue is a menace not only to the mortals but to the preternatural community as well.  If he is to be brought to justice it will only be through the combined efforts of all of us."

I am still in and you know which characters I have. As well as what NPC's

However for the sake of keeping things fresh.

I do think that much like bloodlines you should have a weekly post minimum so things don't fall flat on their faces. We have some members that just dont post that often.

3 times a week seems like a fair number though.

Give the numbers and the character types involved, I've made the decision to stick with characters that are either vampires or cops.  There are people playing shapeshifters but not enough of any one type to maintain their various storylines.  Please let me know if you are currently playing a shapeshifter and want to replace them with a vampire or a cop.  You're still restricted to one of each but it is still possible to play two characters.
