So welcome all back to the site and welcome to the new folks that have recently joined. We are hoping to have more boards open and active by the end of Jan2020.
A few things just to let you guys know, we are going to be open to letting ppl start their own RP threads only rule you need a Moderator that will be dedicated for taking care of all the players, and said Moderator will need 2 players.
To make it so Moderators do not burn out, we are trying to set Maximum cap on all entry points for our story boards. A min of 2 players per board with an ideal 4-5 players in a thread. For more seasoned Story tellers the Cap for players in game will sit at 8 players for each RP board unless you are crazy enough to decide you can handle more players than that. It will be left to your discretion.
When creating a board and looking for players please list how many you are comfortable having in game New Story tellers can set a max limit of 4 characters in a thread until they feel comfortable enough to raise that number of players.
Story tellers are to set the pace of the story and be honest with players as to how often they feel they will be on to help progress the story so players can have an idea if it is going to be a fast, moderate or slow threads.
Slow threads will be anything that is posted in once a week or less.
Moderate threads are 2-3 days a week and
Fast paced threads will be anything where you are seeing posting go down 4 or more days a week.
With this further clarification we are hoping to let the players of the site know what they can best dedicate their time to RP wise without feeling any sort of pressure since you know what you are getting into player number wise as well as how much time you will be deciating to posts.
As a Story teller and Story moderator your job will be to craft the story and lead your players through it and for you all to work together to enjoy the ride and environments. As a Player it is your duty to work with your story teller not derail their story and interact with the other players if you are not interacting with at least 2 people from any given thread that are not the moderators, then you are doing something wrong and making it that much harder for your Game mod to create a fun story that will move along at a smooth and comfortable pace. Please keep this in mind when joining stories to craft characters that will work with the roster or ask the Story teller for recommendations on any sort of characters that they would love to see in their worlds, that you might be able to assist them by making one of their requests come true.
And last but not least we are an adult site, but lets try to be sensitive to the fact that some ppl may have triggers and sensitivities to certain levels of graphic violence. So if we can keep any sexual violence, extreme physical violence and verbal abuse to tasteful levels that would also be great. If you have to have it in your game lets not delve into every little detail. We are here to game not write porn, snuff or turn the Elmwood into Castle edgelord.
