Ok as most of you know last weekend back on the 25th Brian Proposed and I said I do. I wont go into the weepy mushy details or this post will be excessively long. We are currently going through the planning stages and right now I need opinions for the color scheme of my dress. Yes I have one picked out already  :angel4: The Issue is I'm not sure what color to go with.

As you know Ive never been one for tradition and refuse to go with white. Were kinda doing a Victorian/goth/medieval kinda thing for the wedding and hope to hold it on the Hamilton Harbor Cruise ship sometime in 2011 or 2012 but yeah dresses. I'm gonna post up a few pics and my apologies for the bad color job but you guys should be able to get an idea of what Bri and I are thinking color scheme wise.

Give me input on what colors you think are nicest. Thanks in advance.

This The basic Set ups for colors above are Black and Silver, black and hunter green, Red and Black, Black and red,  and Black and gold.

At this point Brian and I are very heaily leaning towards the red and black or black and red at this point and time. And I'm not sure why I put up the black and gold considering I look horrid in anythign with a yellow tone so maybe ignore that one lol.

If you need more detail on the dress I will leave the black and sliver one up here below just so you can get more detail.

DAAALLLE~! I'm popping in from school to say... I LOVE THEM ALL~! xD
BUT! (Sorry for the caps, I haven't slept yet since Tuesday night) I think thaaat I adore the Hunter Green and Black (which would look absolutely stunning with your lovely auburn hair) or the bottom right Red and Black dress. Although I really like the other Black and Red dress, too. O__O So that probably didn't help. BUT I HOPE IT DID! I am excited and too tired to think. I must now go nap in the hallway somewhere! Or work on assignments. That might be important, too.

I agree red and black or black and red.  I always thought red was a wonderful wedding color.

I like the green and black one.  Of the red ones, the red and black I think is better, black isnt as festive or cheery so I like it as the accent color but not the main color.

I have to go with the green and black or, somewhat reluctantly, silver and black.

My next runner ups are anything other than red and black. In addition to actually liking silver and green (which work well together, btw), the red and black theme has been so used and abused for so long that my only thought when I hear red and black Victorian dress is, 'Dear god, not another fucking pretentious goth who can't stray outside the acceptable image.'

Lastly, take no personal offense at anything I said. I am very cranky as my head is trying to explode, I have yet to have a solid night of sleep in a week and domestic tranquility is has been an unattainable state.

So I already posted this on facebook, as I couldn't get the site here to work for me yet again, but now that it is working today, I want to post my reply here as well so others can see my suggestion... and I would like to say that I think it's cool that Trellin and I had the same idea yet again.

I don't know if it's an option, seeing as you didn't put it up... but I would go with the dark hunter green,in a crushed velvet or something like that, but then maybe with silver instead of black as the accent... or gold if it worked better with what Brian ends up wearing, because both the silver and the gold would work with the green....
thats just me though.
if that's not an option, I'd go with the green and black. The green with your hair and your complection would look beautiful.

Hunter green and black is beautiful...and I also like the gold and black...but in the end it is what makes you feel the most beautiful Dale.

She's already got her ideas.  She's just looking for other people's opinions.
