So this is the page that many have been waiting for....

In VTM Bloodlines here in order to increase your skills etc you need the all powerful and awesomely coveted experience points.

Please be aware that you need to post on this board where you have spent your exp points for upgrades so I can update your characters. You will be allowed at the end of each to spend your exp points or you can bank them and use then at the end of next chapter if you wish to buy more expensive skills.

Experience points can be awarded for different reasons. And below I'll give you a break down of how I doll em out...  Don't worry the Experience chart Ill be adding to this thread will have a running total of what you've earned,

End of a chapter
- At the end of a chapter I give out depending on how active you are and how much stuff goes down in a chapter 1-2 points. If you join in near the end of a chapter or haven't been posting much you're likely not going to see an experience point...

Roleplaying
- You managed to stay in character and played out equally well your Demeanor and Nature... Its a tough one to give out since some times ppl don't take the time to RP this out or even go as far as to RP something different demeanor or nature wise other than listed on their bios. This Section also counts for how active you have been as a participant in the game up to this point. Infrequent posting and not playing with your fellow RPers is a great way to earn a Stake for this category as well. (Successful completion will earn you ONE EXP POINT)

Extreme Acts of Bravery- Not to be confused with extreme acts of stupidity. If your Character does something to save the day or someones bacon without doing so for brownie points or to have their asses kissed. This is harder than expected to earn and if I see ppl purposely playing martyr to try and get the extra experience point for this feat you better damn well believe that you wont be getting it. (Successful completion will earn you ONE EXP POINT)

Exceptional Roleplaying- This is given out to only a handful of players and I usually tend to limit it to one person per chapter however sometimes if there were more than just one really exceptional player the points will be given out. This reflects a combination of well thought out posts, staying true to ones character, as well as well written well thought out posts, and being able to add flavor to the campaign setting. As well as keeping me entertained.... (Successful completion will earn you ONE EXP POINT)

Earning more...
(I will be setting up a board on here where you can write and basically submit an informal essay or blurb in character on what you learned in character through out the chapters. (think of it as kinda a mental diary) as a chapter progresses you can go in and edit your post to add more things that you have learned. At the end of each Chapter I will go over your entries and see how much effort and detail went into your life's lessons and award ONE point. IF YOU HAVE PUT IN A HUGE ENTRY WITH A LOT OF DETAIL YOU CAN EARN UP TO 2 POINTS The link for this board for earning more Exp points through an in character Diary can be found here. http://elmwood-rpg.com/index.php?topic=527.msg18713;topicseen#new

Ok here is the running total of what all characters have earned since chapter 1-2.1

You may feel free to spend your exp points now. Please be aware if you add your Diary entries you can gain another 1-2 points to your current listed totals.

Please be sure to post what you wish changed there may be some debate over what you want to raise since I am a stickler for ppl learning skins in character. If it wasn't even partially hinted at in RP or RPed out then you wont be dumping points into it.

IE: Bob was kicking ass and taking names in chapters 1-2.1 he wants to up his brawl which is lv 2
it would cost him 2x the level cost so... 2x2='s 4 exp used to up that skill.

Now lets say the player bob is all ooo I want to open a new skill I pick brain surgery! Id be all hell no bob you kicked ass and took names but no where in the chapters did I see you practice or reading books or receiving any formal training so The player who has bob as a charter would not be able to up that skill.

However with that being said...

If the player said GM I'd like to learn firearms. it would be a resonable request the the amount of fighting that went on. Id just want to see it in game RPed out that you have started to train in it and that you practice this skill. to open a brand new skill at level one costs 3 points.

Please specify how many points you have left over for your characters. Its preferred that you spend what you can in one sitting because you will not be able to learn more until next chapter...

As well pls include a short explanation for why you think your char improved in an area
