When posting you always have the ability to change the color of your posts.
It can be useful when you ahve many different characters on one thread to edit your post colors and stick to that one color so people can easily pick out who is who. Currently we have 13 usable colors (15) if you include the black and out standard white. However out of those 13 colors not all of them look great against a black background.
You can of course using code change the colors.
When you post theres a box on the right hand side above the emoticons thats called the 'Change Color' box that lets you slect your color of choice from a scroll down bar. Normally when you want to change your color you merely highlight the lines you want colored then click on the change color box and make your section.
Example...
So when you have the post window up your post might look liek this if you wanted to use red.
Example Bob went to the store to buy a loaf of bread
In order to get a different color its a matter of deleting the color name and replacing it with a color code. Simply add the code in where the color name used to be and you get your different colored fonts.
Below are a listing of codes and Ive colored them so you can see what they look like. This isnt a full listing but just an idea of what you can do...
#3399FF
#33FFCC
#CC00FF
#CC0000
#CC3399
#CC66FF
#9999FF
#FFFF99
#CCCCCC
#CCFF99
#99CCCC
#CCCC99
#99FF99
#99FFFF
#9933FF
#009966
#339966
So if you wanted to change the color code your post would have to be modified like this... Select the color you want and the screen would like like this if I chose red. Bob went to the store to buy a loaf of bread Im will choose to use #CCCC99 As my color option and would insert it like this Bob went to the store to buy a loaf of bread
The end result would look like this once the post was submitted.
Bob went to the store to buy a loaf of bread.
This concludes the color tuturial.
See you on the boards and happy posting!
