Title: A big thank you.
Post by: LadyJallyn on
As management for the Elmwood, I would like to say thank you very much for returning and deciding to grace these Halls once again with your presence. It's really kind to Have you all to come back After a very long Hiatus for which I'm sorry. It' has been super amazing to see all the old folks Who used to haunt these Pages return. It's also been amazing to see some of the newer people that have also joined as well. Because What's an RP site with an extra people to drag  into to the crazy antics?

I seriously have to thank each and everyone of you for taking a chance and taking the time out of your very busy lives. It really means a lot to have everybody back here doing what we used to love. And I can't believe how much I miss it. Many of you know that I lost my mom back in January of 2011 and it kind of made me fall apart and I went somewhere really dark and really lonely and I kind of just fell off the Earth and lost the will to see beauty or joy in anything for almost 10 years. It wasn't until I got to talk to Max back in December that I realized. I really want to write I think. Prospect of it was terrifying and I know I'm not as good as some of the people here on these boards. But that's not a big concern because we're all family and as long as You can understand what's being said. We're not going to hold Your reading or writing skills against you. We're here to grow and progress and have a great time and that's what I love about this place is that no one's a snob.

I also love how we all work together to just try to make the games a great place. It's really hard to find that on an RP site where everybody's willing to work together to weave a really cool story and just see where it goes. . So for all you guys that have comeback Thank you. If you can remember anybody's email addresses or anything from people that used to play with that isn't here that you want to reach out to. Let me know. I kind of wish I could get ahold of mikula. But I don't have her address and that's a shame because she was a lot of fun. Same with Cheshire if any of you guys remember Rachel's email address. Or have a way of contacting her. That would be freaking amazing. . I know I reached out earlier. And ask Brian to start to hunt for Susie. And I saw a little peek today and it seems like she did login to the Elmwood at least to take a look so welcome back my dear if you're coming by that's great. I also apologize for the fact that this probably looks like garbage while you're reading this. However, it was done via my cell phone.

So it might not be as pretty or organized as my other posts. With that being said though. I don't know what's going on with them. I'm sure lots of you guys have been noticing coding issues with the HTML. Things such as letter sizing coloration issues HTML tags that are just sticking out all over the place. I have no idea what's going on with that because it looks clean when I go to post it and then it gets posted and it turns into some nightmarish gobbledygook. I guess we'll figure that out as time goes on.

But yeah, I just wanted to say welcome to the new people. And thank you to the Old Guard that did site return and give this another try it touches my heart and weighs. You guys can't even imagine. I really do feel like 2020 is finally my year. And I hope you guys will stick around to continue writing for us to be able to grow even more. Because I don't know but you guys but I got a lot of sick and twisted ideas in my melon, but I kind of want to share with the rest of you and I think Bloodlines and AB are going to be a pretty wild ride for the next couple of years.

You're going to see that the thread time is going to move a little bit differently than it did before and we aren't going to be focussing on months of just spending one day in RP. The timelines are going to be a lot more fluid. So, please be aware of that as we game. I guess we may not be posting as much as we did back in the day. But the time is going to change a little bit more often than one would expect it to. If you have any questions or concerns about anything or just want to answer this conversation cuz you know, we're having a good time. Feel free to just throw down and share your opinions on things. I do like feedback guys, and I just want to make sure everyone's having a good time.

So with that being said I'm going to bounce. But I do hope to hear back from you guys. And I look up a discussion about things.

I would also like to thank everyone for rallying to Jallyn's call.  I've kept the Elmwood up for years, as much for nostalgia as for writing purposes.  To see the boards active and members posting is amazing and I know how much this means to Jallyn.  She is happier than I have seen her in a very long time and I have all of you to thank.

And it's not just the Old Guard that deserves thanks.  I want to thank the new members as well, because without new members, this site will slowly wither away, the way it did in the past.  Adn of course Jallyn deserves the most thanks, because without her ability to inspire loyalty and her ability to reconnect with people we haven't spoken to in literally years, we would not be here today, reliving old memories and forging new ones.

LONG LIVE THE ELMWOOD!
